DONAHUE RESIDENCE Design of Addition, 2008 The addition features a butterfly roof and large pocketing sliding doors to give the master bedroom a open ended, airy feel. Following the fall line of the slope, the exterior wall angles to create a little pocket garden at the hinge point, viewed through a frameless, feature window. The interior finishes are rich fir and colored plaster to give a warm, earthy texture to the space. |
