The Clubhouse
HOME RENOVATION & ADDITION — PACIFIC NORTHWEST DESIGN — SEATTLE MODERN ARCHITECTURE
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
This unique residence incorporates a second-story addition and first-floor renovation of a 1940's house in Phinney Ridge. The existing floor plan was opened up and space added for friends to share the home.
A distinct butterfly roof and wide red eaves grace the second level addition. The cantilevered bedroom with huge windows provides lots of daylight inside and cover for outdoor living space below. The front door was moved to add more room to the kitchen to accommodate the group who loves to cook. A compact guest room, with a queen-size bed, is tucked into a nook under the stairs. Two primary suites occupy the second story. Each bedroom has an attached office and workspaces.
