A re-envisioned primary suite was the focus of this renovation of a 1950s home. The design updated the space for modern living and includes a complete remodel of the home’s lower level. Plus, renovations on the top floor in the kitchen and dining room highlight the open concept.

The excavation of the backyard to step down the rear patio to the bedroom creates a terraced garden and a desirable primary ensuite out of the basement. Lots of natural light pours through the glass doors and a large, lushly landscape-screened bathroom window area. Intricate, colorful tile work in the bathroom creates a bright, spa-like feel.

The primary suite continues from front to back making the space feel intentional. The connection from the bedroom, through the walk-in closet to the bathroom, creates a beautiful, functional flow. The partially covered, private deck opens from the bedroom to an exceptional outdoor space designed to be enjoyed year around.
